The Moscow mayor called this a more effective solution

Post by tanjimajuha20 »

Moscow is moving to a new level of introducing digital technologies into the city healthcare system. This was reported by the press service of the mayor and the Moscow Government.

According to the capital's mayor Sergei Sobyanin, more than 100 thousand doctors and nurses in the capital are already working with electronic documents.

"This year we are starting the ecuador whatsapp resource next stage of internal document flow in our clinics and hospitals. In fact, we have set ourselves the task of eliminating any paper documents in the medical system," noted Sergei Sobyanin. "We believe that by 2025 we are ready to completely transfer the entire medical system to a paperless version in the electronic digital document flow mode."

than when some of the work is done electronically, some on paper, and some remains in a person's head. "When the entire system completely switches to an electronic transparent system, completely different effects appear: financial, economic, organizational, and from the point of view of control and compliance with technology," he added.

The capital has been systematically engaged in the digitalization of healthcare in recent years. This has allowed it to reduce a large number of administrative and economic personnel and reorient funding flows to doctors.

Thanks to new technologies, it was possible to create large multidisciplinary clinics and large-scale systems such as oncology centers. The result was an increase in the quality of medical care: infant mortality decreased several times, mortality from circulatory diseases decreased by almost a third, and the life expectancy of Muscovites increased by four years.

The pandemic gave impetus to the development of new technologies in healthcare. Then telemedicine and artificial intelligence began to develop rapidly, the Mayor of Moscow added. The growing capabilities of artificial intelligence make it possible to free doctors from routine work. Today, most medical images are processed automatically: fluorography, X-ray, MRI and CT.

Two years ago, clinic doctors began receiving hints from artificial intelligence about patients' preliminary diagnoses. Today, the virtual assistant makes referrals for examinations and tests. Already this year, it will be able to make a diagnosis based on all the collected data on 95 nosologies.

"In 2025, we believe that we will be ready to move to proactive diagnosis, when artificial intelligence, based on the processing of medical records, will itself proactively say that this or another patient has problems and make a preliminary diagnosis, thus initiating a medical examination," the Mayor of Moscow said.

According to him, such application of technologies in urban healthcare is a world-class breakthrough. At the same time, they will never replace doctors. They should become a tool to help specialists and free up their time to communicate with patients.
