ForumSmart Oil & Gas 2023organized by the publishing group ComNews. Technical director of the GC "Sonet", which is a system integrator, Alexander Komlev stated that most large companies and state corporations have already solved the main problems associated with import substitution.

We see that most large cyprus whatsapp resource state corporations and other companies have solved their problems. And the range of these solutions allows us to close the main problems and tasks of the customer. There are some nuances, problems, some niches that both domestic software and domestic hardware cannot yet close, but nevertheless, the network core, access switches, aggregation, Wi-Fi, everything related to data transmission within corporations basically works, has been tested, and over the course of 9 years - since 2014 - we have been gradually coming to the conclusion that it can really replace foreign vendors to one degree or another. Yes, probably not completely, there is a problem with relocation in terms of training specialists within corporations, but nevertheless it is moving. This is what we, system integrators, see. I cannot speak for everyone. But those with whom we work and where we integrate, it works. There are problems, but they are being solved," said Alexander Komlev.

General Director of Sibur Connect LLC Rustam Abdrakhmanov added that if wired solutions have worthy Russian alternatives, including Russian equipment, then everything that concerns the network core, routing, and firewalling is "still decay, darkness, and hopelessness." "There is no good equipment yet that allows us to meet the requirements of large, serious customers. But we hope that within 2-3 years, worthy alternatives will appear in this segment," Rustam Abdrakhmanov noted.

According to him, in the wireless segment there are "very good analogues in Wi-Fi, but there are big problems with the software. "The network ecosystem is not only hardware, but also certain software, and here, unfortunately, we do not see any serious breakthroughs in wireless. It is not about the access points themselves, but about the controllers and the software that turns it all around," noted the CEO of Sibur Connect.

In addition, he noted that in the 5G, 3G and LTE segments "there are decent cores", but there are no base stations yet: "Here, unfortunately, there is nothing yet. Therefore, in my opinion, the situation could be better, but it is better at least this way than nothing at all."

Mikhail Kuleshov, technical director of Severstal-Infocom, also noted the problems with Wi-Fi controllers and the lack of powerful equipment for data centers. In addition, he called on Russian manufacturers "not to repeat marketing jokes" related to subscriptions to licenses, especially for products related to information security.

"This is an appeal to Russian manufacturers - do not repeat these marketing jokes and do not make products that are especially used in information security, the functionality of which depends on external factors. Such cases are starting to appear and it looks unpatriotic. We are building a reliable infrastructure that should work in any case, regardless of external factors," said Mikhail Kuleshov.

Pavel Martynov, Director of the Telecommunications and Communications Development Directorate at Gazpromneft ITO, added that there are no Russian network cores and there is nothing to even try to choose from.
