Market players shared their current developments at the demo day of the ICC "Television and Radio Broadcasting" held on October 26, 2023. The opening speech was given by the general director of the ANO "Digital Economy" Sergey Plugotarenko. He assured the participants of the event that the task of import substitution algeria whatsapp resource will be accomplished in the near future.

of what needs to be replaced, what solutions already exist and how much money needs to be invested in them. Now we are moving on to the next stage: exchanging knowledge, software, and developments in order to enlarge projects. I am confident that we will definitely fulfill the task of import substitution, and then we will think about how to demonstrate the areas in which Russia really has the potential for technological leadership," said Sergey Plugotarenko.

Sergey Vanyukov, CEO of the television ecosystem developer BRAM Technologies, spoke about the development of a new generation of Russian software for automating the production processes of television broadcasters: "This is a grant project, where the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) invited us as a developer. After the departure of Western companies, it became unsafe to use foreign software. Therefore, the main goal of the project was to solve industry problems in two areas: news production and broadcast automation. The key functions of the system we are working on: organizing a single comprehensive information technology environment for a television company; planning, layout and broadcasting of news events and releases; unified management of media assets and resources of a television company; multi-channel automated round-the-clock broadcasting of programs to all time zones of the country. VGTRK chose several sites for the implementation of the software: the backup broadcast complex of the Russia 1 television company; news systems for the Utro Rossii and Vesti programs; the backup news complex of Russia 24. As a result, this will be the first domestic product of television broadcasters in the unified register of Russian computer programs and databases."

Natalia Builina, Development Director of the software development company TRV Technologies, presented the Russian software package for automating radio broadcasting, Tonika: "We automate the production process at a radio station and the delivery of content to broadcasting points. Product development began in mid-2023 as a response to increasing pressure from foreign vendors on state-owned companies. Problems associated with this could lead to the blocking of the usual production process at radio stations and even to the suspension of broadcasting. There are available automation systems on the market, but none of them work with the domestic IT infrastructure, which is why Tonika appeared. It has a cross-platform architecture. We support work on a number of domestic operating systems (OS) and on Windows. Currently, more than 25 thousand broadcasting points are available in Tonika. The product includes all the tools necessary for working at a radio station. At the moment, we have developed the core of the system. This component is responsible for working with media data and the interaction of applications with each other. He is also responsible for the full integration of the automation system used at state radio complexes. This allows the radio broadcasting servers to be transferred to the domestic IT infrastructure. Currently, "Tonika" is undergoing expert evaluation in the register of domestic software. By 2026, we plan to switch to a fully functional system and support domestic OS at all workstations."

Alexander Popov, CEO of the developer of cloud services and technical solutions for TV and radio companies "Votum Center", on automatic content generation and a solution for news programs: "When we created the product, we set the goal of transferring production to the editorial office so that the editor could create a news story or an entire issue without an editor, announcer or other specialists. This is a cloud service. On the left side of the interface, there is an integrator that collects news from trusted channels. Messages from messengers also go there. On the right, the editor can create captions, a story and even voice it. We pay special attention to working with captions and synchronizations. They usually take a lot of time. But it is the production of express news that is sensitive to time delays. Therefore, we generate color, animation, load speech recognition in synchronizations and form ready-made captions. The voiceover can be done by an announcer or artificial intelligence. Then we transfer the production of stories to the news offices, coordinate with the central editorial office, and as a result the newsroom can produce regional news. In addition to stories and express news, it is possible to produce announcements or updates immediately with relevant information. It is transferred to the system in a couple of clicks, a video sequence is formed, which can be quickly broadcast. In this way, we influence the speed of production and coordination; we ensure automation of routine, round-the-clock and remote production, and a reduction in the number of specialists involved in the process."
