The company "NPO ITS", one of the leaders of the Russian market of intelligent transport systems, presented Volgograd with a "smart" solution for managing traffic at busy intersections. 149 new generation video detectors "PAUK" have been installed in the region. The project was implemented by order of the Volgograd administration within the framework of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads".

The complex counts the number of vehicles, determines the intensity and density of traffic, average speed on the road and individual speed of the car, recognizes the type of germany telegram vehicle and traffic lane. This is necessary for automated traffic control - changing the mode of traffic lights. The functionality of the video detector can be fine-tuned if necessary, since the equipment operates on the basis of neural network software. The main advantages of the video detector are that it is compatible with any models of video cameras, can track traffic on a 10-lane road, and the detection error, even with such a wide view, does not exceed 5%. The complex can operate using wired (ethernet) and wireless (LTE) technologies, which expands the possibilities of its application. The video detector is resistant to temperature changes and can function smoothly in all climatic zones.

"The hardware and software complex "PAUK" was completely developed by our company's specialists. In terms of its functionality, the system can compete with both foreign models, which is especially important in the context of sanctions and the course towards import substitution, and with Russian products. The software is included in the register of Russian software of the Ministry of Digital Development, and the complex itself is considered a trusted hardware and software complex and can be used at significant facilities of the critical information infrastructure," said Vyacheslav Smirnov, General Director of NPO ITS.

"We provide comprehensive solutions that include software development, assembly, installation and maintenance of equipment throughout the entire life cycle. This saves customers time and administrative resources. In addition, all our products are implemented in a single vehicle management platform. It was also developed by NPO ITS specialists. The platform collects and analyzes data it receives from other technical solutions, and then offers scenarios for responding to certain transport incidents. Integration of the "PAUK" video detector with it will further increase the efficiency of traffic control," added Vyacheslav Smirnov.
