According to rumors reported by ZDNet , Microsoft is reportedly working on developing a smartphone to compete with Apple's iPhone.
The project, which is being developed under the code name Pink, would have a campaign that is currently being developed by the agency McCann Erickson , according to AdWeek . McCann Erickson has imposed itself over JWT and Crispin Porter + Boguski.
The Microsoft phone is said to be developed by gambling data india Danger , a manufacturer that was acquired by the computing giant in early 2008. Pink is said to be powered by the Windows Mobile 7 operating system and include special features such as Microsoft's Zune media player.
The smartphone is expected to be produced by Motorola or Sharp and will be launched in early 2010.
