Microblogging platform Twitter has launched a marketing starter guide for users of its site called Twitter 101, an attempt to explain step by step how to advertise on the social network and bank data what its benefits are.
Twitter 101 aims to demonstrate how customers and businesses can create value on the microblogging site and to clarify doubts about this tool that is on everyone's lips, but which many do not know how to use.
The guide includes examples of well-known brands that have incorporated the platform into their marketing efforts, such as JetBlue, Teusner Wines, Tasti D Lite, NakedPizza, Pepsi, American Apparel and Dell, and comes after a study by Harris Interactive revealed that 55% of professionals in the sector were unaware of the existence of Twitter .
