To avoid distractions (at home):

Airplane mode is a good solution or if you prefer to be reachable in case of emergency, mute all your applications and make a list of favorite contacts who can reach you in case of emergency.
Put yourself in good working conditions. Empty the office, sort and throw away what is of no use to you.
Don't eat in front of the computer.
Take a real 5-10 office 365 database minute break if you feel like you're falling asleep.
Isolate yourself.

To avoid distraction (in progress)

Ask questions to the teacher or speaker, find your interest in each lesson, this will allow you to follow it more attentively.
Use airplane mode
Avoid arguing with your neighbor (logical)
Sleep well before a day of classes . Sleeping well = learning better
Participating will help you maintain good concentration.

3 - Better manage your organization

Student life can be very demanding, you have to know how to manage your personal life, your studies, your work (for jobbers and work-study students), your family, your sports activities...in short, a huge number of variables that can ultimately work against you if you manage your time poorly.

Managing your organization is very important, for example going out late at night the night before an exam or revising at the last minute is not a very good idea.

Think efficiency… There is a time for everything, set yourself limits when necessary but above all objectives.

4 - Set goals

If you work with a goal in mind, it will be more interesting for you to achieve your goals:

With the SMART method , you will have a better idea of how to approach the road to your goals.
Train yourself! To achieve your goals, you need to think about training to: improve your working method, your speaking skills, optimize your note-taking, strengthen your knowledge, etc.
Be aware of failure. There are a lot of setbacks and you have to learn to use them to succeed. Use your experiences, take a step back and succeed!

Take the start of the school year as THE time to take stock of your motivations, your goals and yourself. It is the opportunity, as at the beginning of each year, to list and materialize everything that will make you successful.

Up to you.
