WhatsApp is looking for these professional profiles to contribute to Facebook's coffers

Post by pappu636 »

WhatsApp , the instant messaging app owned by Facebook, is not making money for the social giant. At least, for now. Last May, Mark Zuckerberg announced that the app's monetization was not imminent, but this seems to have changed in recent months .

We are looking at one of the most popular instant messaging applications globally. It has a presence in 180 countries and around 1.2 billion users. But it needs to make money. And this could change without the need (at least for now) for advertising .

The latest information reveals that WhatsApp is looking for a number of bahamas phone number professionals to develop and lead products that allow the app to be monetized.

Specifically, there are three positions that are being sought to be filled: product marketing manager , product manager and a commercial communications manager .

The messaging giant's intentions are said to be to launch some kind of product in emerging markets where it is most popular. The job offers detail that applicants are required to have professional experience in international or emerging markets, so India or Brazil could be the chosen ones.

Facebook has not yet commented , but Zuckerberg has always expressed his desire that companies first use these apps organically to interact with users, and then think about the rest.
