The Cabify company continues to grow and achieve great success throughout Spain, becoming one of the most successful startups in the entire country. This is confirmed by its numbers, since its latest round of financing, which is already underway, will exceed 211 million from January to June of this year. In this way, the company has indicated that it intends to obtain 300 million dollars in financing, that is, about 255 million euros.

elEconomista.es has highlighted this information and has also assured that with the obtaining of these benefits the company plans to finance its growth in South America , which will be carried out together with important investors such as the Japanese e-commerce platform Rakuten , and automobile manufacturers and technology companies linked to this same industry.

The transport application has thus received half of the investment from startups in Spain . Furthermore, Cabify's main objective is to gain size and operate in more cities. It currently operates in more than 40 cities and 12 countries in Latin America (including Mexico, Chile, Peru and Brazil), Spain and Portugal. For this reason, 2016 was a good year for the company, which closed with three times as much revenue as the previous year, amounting to almost 18 million euros.

In this way, startups from all over the country are experiencing moderate austria phone number growth, making it one of the most attractive countries in Europe . All of this has been achieved thanks to the different initiatives for these businesses, as well as the increase in investors.

However, it should be noted that during the first quarter of the year, investment in this sector was more moderate than the previous year at the same time , moving 211 million euros, that is, experiencing a fall of 18%. In addition, the role of the public sector as a direct investor in startups has decreased, while private entities invested a total of 380.8 million euros last year.

Experts, for their part, expect an accelerated pace of investment during the second half of the year , which would mean that the Spanish market would achieve a new annual volume of close to 500 million euros.
