TALENT DAYS: That's right, if you upload your CV to our system early enough, we can arrange mini recruitment interviews with employers during Talent Days! Basiu, what did the recruitment process at Getinge look like from your point of view and what aspects were particularly interesting to the employer?
BASIA: The recruitment french polynesia email list 150000 contact leads
process at Getinge Shared Services was a real pleasure for me - I can safely say that it was the most enjoyable process I have had the opportunity to participate in. At the beginning, I had two interviews with the recruiter, Justyna. The first one ended with a full-time job offer, but considering the fact that I am still a student, I was offered a part-time job. It was a very nice gesture for me, a total green flag! In the next stage, I talked to Marcin and Kamil, where we focused on my skills, expected salary and availability. A lot of emphasis was put on knowledge of foreign languages, due to the nature of the job - regular contact with English and German related to working with international teams. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of the conversation, which was more like a casual meeting over coffee than a formal recruitment.
TALENT DAYS: You had the opportunity to meet one of the TOP employers — green flags are probably everywhere. Could you tell us more about the responsibilities related to your current position in the company?
BASIA: I work in the PtP (Purchase to Pay) department, we are in charge of indirect purchases for Germany. Within my purchasing group, I check the correctness of data before
placing an order. I am also responsible for ensuring the correctness of the
orders, which is why constant contact with ordering persons, other buyers and suppliers is required. Therefore, in this position in particular, it is important to develop a balance between teamwork and independent work.
TALENT DAYS: How would you describe the working environment at Getinge Shared Services? How would you describe the collaborative atmosphere in your team?
BASIA: My perspective is fresh due to my short experience, but from the very beginning
cooperation, I consider the company to be very honest and caring for its employees. I am
impressed by the professionalism and commitment of my colleagues and the general culture of openness and mutual support. Mutual assistance made it easier for me to quickly adapt to the new work environment, while close colleagues always brighten my day.
