The 16th installment of the "Web Industry Evolution Practical Course" is aimed at web directors with around three years of industry experience . Mio Nakai and Noriaki Takazawa from the Japan Direction Association will be guests, and they will talk about the latest web direction trends and ways of thinking that are important regardless of the era.
In this interview conducted just before the event, we spoke to both men about what led them to become involved with the Japan Direction Association and the changes they have felt during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Born in 1984. After working as a DTP designer, he moved to the web. After gaining experience as a web designer , he is currently engaged in direction work (7th year). He is skilled in designing personas and customer journeys, and designing and renovating websites from a marketing perspective based on access analysis. He
became a freelancer in June 2019, and mainly works full-time, but also personally directs the creation of new services and cooperates in launching web production departments. In addition, as a private activity, he has been a member of the Japan Direction Association since 2018. He is a lecturer, promotes meetup planning, and works as a seminar staff member.

Nobuo Takazawa,

Executive Director of Exert Co. , Ltd. He made his debut in 1972, and moved to Tokyo after graduating from Matsumoto Fukashi High School. After barely graduating from the Department of Japanese Literature at Hosei University, he joined Adobe Systems Co., Ltd. and worked on the Japanese version of Adobe Photoshop.
In 2008, he became independent as a sole proprietor. In 2009, he enrolled in Hosei University Graduate School and began working two jobs. In 2010, he started running a shot bar in Shinjuku Golden Gai (his third job). In the same year, he became a director of the NPO Street Design Research Institute (his fourth job). In 2011, he was a mentor for the University of belgium phone number data Tokyo Entrepreneurship Course. He obtained a master's degree in policy studies in 2015. He joined Exert Co., Ltd. in 2019 and continues to work there today.
After working on the planning, operation and direction of websites and mobile applications for major news portal sites, megabanks and major travel agencies, he currently supports overseas companies in entering the Japanese market and localizes them, and provides digital transformation support and marketing for small and medium-sized enterprises. He also volunteers by giving lectures to students and co-authoring books.
