Brainwashing in Davos

Post by asimd23 »

Alpine air is usually good for most people. But not at this year's WEF. In particular, the press representatives present in the wintry Davos suddenly behaved like they were wearing the gloves on backwards. How come? The "Trump Show" is the answer. Ever since the current US president presented himself during the election campaign for this office or now as the incumbent, the Swiss press in particular has been in a state of excitement, even outrage. Trump is said to be a sexist, a beast, badly dressed, has no manners, is unworthy of the highest political office in the world, etc.

The switch flipped for journalists when Trump boarded Air Force One, his impressive Boeing 747 government aircraft. The US President's jumbo-sized entourage with specially imported helicopters, armored vietnam rcs data limousines and the meticulous work of the Secret Service were from then on the number one topics in the media. When will Trump land? How will he fly to Davos? Is the hotel safe? What will he eat there and does he like Switzerland? You could almost think that Donald J. Trump had traveled to Davos on his way to the annual tourism congress. But that was not the case. The question would have been how Trump would fare on the slippery political stage rather than whether he would slip on the snow when getting out of the helicopter.

The often-criticized populist Trump did not have to listen to any critical questions. And yet, for such a brilliant representative of this profession, it was only natural that he should. Once the surface has been scraped away, the content comes to light.
