3 What does the future hold?
On September 27, 2013, Google Hummingbird announced its latest update. In fact, this modification had been secretly being tested since August 30. Now, we all know that every new change pharmaceutical email lists in the foundations of the search engine means a general stir in the SEO community in particular, and in all those involved in digital marketing in general. But this time, the big G really shook the foundations.
On the occasion of its 15th birthday, Google Hummingbird decided to drop a news bomb. During the event, spokespersons confirmed that this is the most important update in 3 years, since Caffeine in 2010 specifically, and that it is a complete revamp of the search structure. The main difference is that Hummingbird focuses mainly on the modality and interactivity of the search and not so much on the speed of indexing.
Before we dive into the details of this new challenge, let's do a quick review of the changes introduced by the search engine in recent years.

A Little History of Google Hummingbird
In its 15 years of existence, Google Hummingbird has introduced many changes to its search fundamentals and the rules it uses to index pages. While content quality and usability have always been two of its main rhetorical focuses and best practice guidelines, the truth is that until about 3 or 4 years ago the search engine was still not advanced enough to take these factors to a practical level, at least not completely.
That's why, up until then, black hat strategies still enjoyed a certain popularity (and there are still some people who put them into practice today). But with the last two updates to its old algorithm, Penguin and Panda , Google was able to almost nip these shady positioning techniques in the bud. What did each of them specifically affect?
Penguin: was responsible for seriously harming sites with unreliable link building . Pages with dubious backlinks , directories or purchased links.
Panda: the champion of content. Sites with duplicate texts, too much advertising in their structure and generally mediocre content quality were deeply affected.
