Column Type 21: Button
The new column type "Button" is the odd one out among the almost two dozen column types in SeaTable. (Spoiler: We'll be filling up the two dozen column types very soon. Stay tuned!) You don't store any information in a button column; you use the button column to automate actions. With the introduction of the new column type in this release, you can run a script using a button. Very soon, you will also be able to send emails (more below) and chat messages with one click. Over the course of 2021, we will gradually add more actions that can be triggered using a button.
New column type: Button
When you create a button column, you define germany rcs data the appearance and function of the button the button label and its color. Take a look at the SeaTable Script Manual (available in English only) if you want to write your own scripts and integrate them into your table via a button.
Imagine you are a sales manager and you want to get your product managers to update the information in the product catalog. Until now, this required you to give all managers access to the product catalog base (or view) and then ask them to check that the data is up to date.
