The operating loss widened from $1.1 billion to $0.5 billion, attributed to a huge loss at Disney+ and poor results at Hulu. Average monthly revenue per paying subscriber for domestic Disney+ fell from $5.95 to $6.10. Average monthly revenue per paying Disney+ subscriber rose from 0.74 to $0.58, following high ad revenue per subscriber.

Average monthly revenue for each ESPN+ subscriber increased from $5.53 to $4.84, driven by an increase in retail costs. Average monthly payments per paying Hulu subscriber increased from $12.46 to $12.23. Content licensing and sales plus other revenue for the quarter increased to $2.5 billion, up 1%. Revenue from Disney Parks, Products and Experiences increased to $8.7 billion, up 21%. Unallocated expenses and operating expenses increased from $280 million to $228 million.

The Walt Disney Company generated nearly $29 billion in total revenue from its product segment, cayman islands phone number data experiences and parks. This was an increase of $12 billion from the previous year. The company’s entertainment and media segments were the best performers, generating $55 billion during the same period. This was up from the $50.9 billion the segment generated the year before.

Disney’s total assets were worth $203.6 billion. Revenue from consumer products and parks rose to $8.7 billion, up 21%. Revenue from the streaming division rose 13% from the previous year, generating $5.3 billion. Revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2022 was $23.51 billion.

This was an increase of 7.76% year-over-year. Disney's revenue for the year ending December 2022 was $84 billion. The increase was 15.66% year-over-year. Full-year revenue for 2021 was $67.41 billion, an increase of 3.1% from 2020.
