A representative of the Federal Tax Service press service said that the experiment began on March 1, 2024, within the framework of Government Resolution No. 144 "On conducting an experiment to provide a comprehensive service for state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, issuing a qualified certificate of the electronic signature verification key of a legal entity and individual entrepreneur, opening a current account and concluding a remote banking service agreement." It combines such FTS services as registration and obtaining a signature of a legal entity or individual entrepreneur with bank services for opening an account.

"The experiment involves providing a comprehensive service using biometrics (a verified account in the Unified Biometric System - UBS) is required, including electronic business registration, obtaining an electronic signature without personal presence, and remote opening of an account in a credit institution," noted a representative of the Federal Tax Service press service.

He added that four banks took part in the experiment: VTB, Gazprombank, Promsvyazbank and Sberbank. Their representatives did not respond to ComNews correspondent's inquiries.

According to a representative of the Federal Tax Service press service, the registration process takes place in one day in three stages, and the Unified Biometric System (UBS) is used at each stage.

Head of the Small Business Development Department of T-Business (T-Bank) Yegor Rannev said that the accelerated online registration service in the FTS experiment is available only to those whose biometric data is already stored in state registries. And the remote registration service has been working in T-Bank for more than five years, and to register an individual entrepreneur needs to have a passport, SNILS and TIN, and to register an LLC, you will need the organization's charter and documents confirming the legal address. All the necessary documents can be submitted either through the T-Bank application or through the website.

He noted that T-Bank support service specialists are ready to help clients with paperwork, select OKVED and taxation system. According to Egor Rannev, the maximum period that passes from the moment of forming an application and transferring documents to the Federal Tax Service to business registration is five days, on average, business registration using the T-Bank service takes three days.

"In 2023, 265 thousand applications for business registration were submitted through T-Bank. In 2024, their number will exceed 300 thousand. Today, every fourth individual entrepreneur registers a business using the service from T-Bank," concluded Yegor Rannev.
