Next comes part two: Cutting losses from laos b2b leads underperforming ads quickly.
If an ad doesn't convert or has very few conversions, delete it immediately. Please note that we are currently pausing individual ads, not entire ad groups.
8-9 hours after going live. Pause any unprofitable ad groups. If any ad groups are nearly profitable, they can remain online for the time being. At this point, the algorithm has enough data that it's not worth pausing individual ads, just the entire ad group. At this point, you may lose 5-7 of your 20 ad groups.
12 hours after going online. Pause any unprofitable ad groups, including those that are close to being profitable. At this point, you may have cut down another 5-7 ad groups, leaving you with 6-10 profitable ad groups.
14-16 hours after going live. If any ad groups have fallen below the profit line, pause them immediately.
After this last check, you can let the remaining ad groups run for the rest of the day.
The amazing thing is, there's a good chance you won't make a profit at first. By 8 a.m., your return on investment (ROI) could be negative 30%. But by midnight, you'll make a sure profit.
At midnight, when you see your profits for the day, you can reset the entire campaign. Reopen every ad in every ad group. We reset the campaign at midnight because Facebook ads essentially run on a 24-hour cycle. If something fails today, it might be a huge success tomorrow, and vice versa.
You will repeat this 24 hour cycle for 4-5 days. At this point, you will have enough data to check which ad groups are always worth your budget. You may find that you have about 15 great ads and 5 that you can delete permanently.
4-6 hours after going live. Go into each ad group and pause the worst-performing ads.
