Twitter is no longer just a place to tell a friend that you've eaten pizza. Over time it has become a useful tool for advertisers. Rosales believes that Dell is an exemplary case. They have a team of community managers who are responsible for interacting with social networks and the various communities in the sector, blogs, forums, etc. They monitor all online mentions where Dell appears, including reviews in social media, RSS, searches, etc. and they closely follow up on positive, negative and neutral comments. Dell never censors or regrets critical comments and responds to them where they occur. Since 2006, the company has had its own blog and community. Since then, negative online reviews have dropped from 50% to 20%.
