Business Suite vs Business Manager: Who wins?

Post by nurnobi30 »

One thing is clear - Business Suite will replace Business Manager, but yes, it will take (a little) more time for all the tools for managing a Facebook page and Instagram profile with posts, messages, comments, and ads to be unified in one place.

It's true - Meta (ex Facebook) is introducing changes without much warning to its users and there's nothing you can do about it. So, start using the Business Suite and get used to it.

What is Meta Business Suite?
Meta Business Suite is a free tool that brings together Facebook, Instagram, and messaging tools in one place, on mobile or desktop, so you can save time, connect with more people, and achieve better business results.

Business Suite is for small businesses only
At first, we were comforted that this was the case, especially since the Business Suite was initially focused on content, while the Business Manager is focused on managing ad accounts, pixels, management rights, etc.

However, after updating the Business Suite this summer, there is growing evidence iran phone number data that Meta (formerly Facebook) is moving towards a complete solution – it plans to make the Business Suite the main interface for businesses of all sizes using Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger over the coming months.

If you're still confused about how to manage a Facebook business page, you're not alone. Facebook has done its best to contribute to the general confusion by releasing more and more new tools with little explanation, then changing strategy as new tools and products are introduced.

Business Suite vs. Business Manager vs. Creator Studio
The current situation is like this - there are three management tools mentioned in the context of Facebook/Instagram networks. Let's take a look at what you can do with them and who will take the lead in the future.

Business Manager
We'll start with the longest-standing tool - Business Manager is the most widely used tool for advertising.

From here you can manage your pages, ad accounts, product catalogs, apps, pixel, events, users, registration, and payment options.

Long-time users of Business Manager, primarily marketing agencies, will grumble the most because they have become accustomed to this tool, and they are also fed up with the changes, or rather the accompanying bugs that are inevitable when Meta initiates changes.

However, Meta has started the process and it shouldn't be surprising if Business Manager is quietly discontinued in favor of a new tool.

Business Manager is losing the battle.
And yes, this will happen regardless of the fact that Ads Manager is currently separate from Business Suite. By clicking on it, you will be taken to the old Business Manager interface where you use Business Settings and Events Manager.

Even in the category overview, some users are already seeing Meta pushing the Business Suite under their noses (photo below).

Business Creator Studio
Although originally introduced as a tool for building and managing your video business, Creator Studio also has a lot of features that overlap with the Business Suite. In addition to the basic video features, you can see insights about your business pages, read and respond to messages, and create/schedule/publish new content on Instagram/Facebook.

The main difference between these two platforms is that Creator Studio offers additional post-setup options and creative tools, such as:
