Even though Instagram is increasingly moving towards video, photos are still an integral part of the platform and an extremely valuable type of content for many users.

The official Instagram app has a built-in tool to resize photos before uploading.

All you have to do is upload a photo, and before clicking Next you just have to click on the two arrows icon that you will find in the lower left corner or use the “pinch to zoom” function (basically, just as if you wanted to zoom the photo with two fingers).
