Types of middleware

Post by subornaakter20 »

There are three types of middleware: "Web server," "application server," and "database management server." A system consisting of these three is called a "Web three-tier structure." It las vegas email list is used in many large-scale systems because it has features such as robust security, easy management, and quick recovery from failures.

From here, we will explain these three middleware.

Web Server
A web server is middleware that is responsible for displaying static content in response to requests from a web browser. The content viewed through a web browser on a PC or smartphone is text and images collected from the web server. Static content is content that always returns the same result in response to a request. The same text and images are displayed no matter who views it, when or at what time. Static content consists of HTML files, images, style sheets (such as CSS), etc.

In addition to displaying static content, web servers also have the function of forwarding requests for dynamic content to the application server, receiving the results, and responding to the request. Dynamic content differs from static content in that it returns different results depending on the user and content that makes the request.

For example, when you log in to an online shopping website, you can check your purchase history and shopping cart. Because account information and purchase history change depending on the user who logs in, this type of content is called dynamic content.
