Customer acquisition in Mebloscence

Post by sumaiyakhatun26 »

Artur: Great technique. In the world of startups dealing with technological products, something like this is called reducing friction. So, how can we make it easier for the customer to make a decision and give them a smaller sample. The comment about returns was of course a joke. You mentioned that you had to learn everything yourself and that 6 years ago, when you started your adventure, the main challenge was reaching the right customer segment. Not acquiring manufacturers – which is very interesting to me, that they were so open to cooperation, but the right customers. What were the first steps you took then? What did you consider the most important to launch furniture sales online? What did you try to do? How did you try to acquire those first customers?

Krystyna: From the very beginning I was aware that there was a lot of competition, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. That's why I knew that if I didn't decide to advertise, no one would see me. From the very beginning I worked with japan rcs data an agency that dealt with online advertising and positioning. Every month we did an analysis: what works, what doesn't work, where to increase the budget and what to invest in so that selling furniture online makes sense. I didn't try to advertise on the Internet on my own, because I knew that it was quite complicated, that Google settings change very often and I didn't want to do it myself. From the very beginning I trusted professionals.

Artur: This is a common sense approach. You don't have to do everything yourself and you don't have to be an expert in everything. I also don't know half of the services our subcontractors provide, from lawyers to accountants. I wonder where the name Mebloscenka comes from?

Krystyna: I didn't come up with the name. Earlier, in my previous business, an interior design studio, I worked with a graphic designer who designed my first logo. When I came up with the idea for this store, I contacted him because I knew he was an incredibly creative person. I told him that I really like combinations of several different words or words with double meanings that can be interpreted in different ways. And that's where the idea came from.
