MTS has provided residents of small towns in the Voronezh Region with access to digital services. Active construction and launch of new MTS base stations in record time has made it possible to provide voice communications and mobile Internet to more than 6.5 thousand residents of rural areas in the region.
in 8 districts of the region - Borisoglebsky, Gribanovsky, Ternovsky, Nizhnedevitsky, Kamensky, Verkhnekhavsky and a number of other districts. Until now, voice communication and mobile Internet were completely absent here or were unstable and intermittent. The project is being implemented within the framework of the regional program of the Digital Development Department of the Voronezh Region for the development of communications in rural settlements of the region.
The largest settlement where india cell phone number list 4G appeared was the village of Bogan in the Borisoglebsk urban district (about 1,200 residents), and the smallest were the villages of Verkhnyaya Maza in the Verkhnekhavsky district and Volchanskoye in the Kamensky district (about 400 residents).
"We continue to eliminate the "blank spots" in our region. The demand for the Internet in the provinces is no less high than in large cities. Communications enable residents of small towns to significantly improve their standard of living and personal comfort. This concerns not only the possibility of remote learning or work, using government services or entertainment, but also the development of remote towns in general. Every year, we collect applications from local residents and municipal authorities for the organization of mobile communications and gradually, step by step, provide residents of the provinces with all the modern opportunities that digitalization provides," explained Denis Volkov, Head of the Digital Development Department of the Voronezh Region.
, MTS technical specialists built, equipped and configured new base stations 30 and 70 meters high, ensuring 100% coverage of these populated areas with high-quality communications.
"We have launched an LTE network based on our own communications infrastructure, which will be available to local residents and visitors. Our priority is small and remote villages, for which our connection is sometimes the only way to get an education online, pay for utilities, fill out the necessary documents on government services, contact emergency services in difficult times, ask for help or simply consult a doctor via video link. Rural residents have received equal digital opportunities with city residents - high 4G speeds can well serve as an alternative to regular home Internet, in particular for organizing a Wi-Fi zone in the house and using high speeds for the needs of all household members," said Vasily Golub, Director of MTS in the Voronezh Region.
