According to the press service of the Russian government, the winners of the competition will have to register a legal entity, develop a business plan and create a startup website. The deadline for applications for the Student Startup competition is April 3, 2023.

Sergey Polyakov, CEO of the Innovation Assistance Fund, noted that the Student Startup program is only a year old. "But we have already successfully selected 1,000 best projects, more than 600 of which have already received legal entity status and are preparing to launch production of innovative import-substituting products," he said.
