Municipal utilities, municipalities and cities come together at the Stadtwerke Impact Day, or SID for short. Every year, experts from different areas of the energy industry put their heads together and think together about the challenges of tomorrow. This year, the day took place in January - the venue was the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lübeck. The topic: How can municipal utilities and their cities and municipalities achieve the 1.5 degree target?
But what makes the SID so special, so different?
"The Public Utilities Impact Day - the climate event for courageous public utilities, cities and municipalities." The slogan already suggests that this was not going to be a conventional format, and that's exactly how it was.
