The Central District Administration of Saint Petersburg has optimized a number of processes related to the preparation of reports on fuel and energy resource and water consumption limits.
This was achieved with the help of a software robot, implemented within the framework of the implementation of the "Efficient Region" program. The new technology made it possible to reduce the execution time of some tasks by almost three times.

The analysis of processes, which was carried out with the help of a team of specialists from the St. Petersburg Information and Analytical Center, revealed the difficulties that arise in the preparation of reports: working with a large array of initial data; the introduction of new forms of calculation for government agencies and the associated transfer of data; the risk of distortion and/or loss of information; the possibility of failure to meet the deadlines for approving the energy balance.
The robot performs a number of functions, including: checking the consumption of fuel and energy resources and water, comparing reports; automated transfer of calculations, checking the facts of consumption for compliance with limits; checking tariffs and data of resource supplying organizations; checking the correctness of data entered by institutions, minimizing errors.
The entire process could take up to 73 days, but now, thanks to the software robot, it takes no more than 37 days to implement. The time it takes for specialists to prepare information has been reduced from 20 to 7 days. Labor costs have also been reduced from 20 to 14 days. In addition, the number of operations performed at different stages of document preparation has been reduced.
