RBC sent a request to Russian Railways.

But the government sent the quantum sensor roadmap back for revision at the end of 2019. At the same time, Kommersant reported that Rostec proposed spending 41 billion rubles on the creation and development of the quantum sensor market in Russia, including 27 billion rubles from the budget and 14 billion rubles of cambodia whatsapp resource its own funds and other investments. The roadmap considered 19 types of sensors, of which ten were supposed to be ready for industrial production by the end of 2024. The volume of the quantum sensor market in Russia, according to the authors of the document, should have amounted to 31 billion rubles by 2024 and 50 billion rubles by 2030. Moreover, the values only included civilian products, but for certain types of sensors, "a significant share of the products will be used in the interests of defense and security."

A source familiar with the situation around the development of the document on quantum sensors indicated that the signed agreement "was not actually supported by real budget financing, and no funds were allocated for its implementation." "The passage of time has shown that quantum sensorics is a narrow topic, the market is small, and the scale does not reach the level of a separate high-tech area, unlike, for example, the extensive topics of quantum computing or quantum communications. Back in the fall of last year, the government came to the conclusion that a separate agreement, its own "road map" and budget are not required for the development of sensorics, and this area can be easily reduced," he explained. According to him, existing projects in the field of quantum sensors can receive state support within the framework of other state programs, for example, the development of the electronic and radio-electronic industry.

An RBC source in the IT market noted that quantum sensors may be included in new documents on the development of quantum computing and quantum communications, which will be created within the framework of the national project "Data Economy" until 2030. That is, Rosatom and Russian Railways will be engaged in the development of this area - each in their own part. The government must approve the national project "Data Economy", according to the instruction of the President of Russia, by June 2024. Among other things, the national project must create conditions for attracting scientists and specialists to Russia to create quantum sensors, collect data, including using highly sensitive sensors based on quantum sensors, the instruction said.

A Rosatom representative said that discussion of the prospects for a "road map" for the development of quantum sensors would be possible "upon the adoption of relevant decisions by the government." "At this stage, we can only state the importance of further development of quantum sensors as an integral part of quantum technologies, which also include quantum communications and quantum computing," he noted.
