The testing grounds will unite the efforts of operators, vendors and end consumers of services," said Mikhail Oseevsky.
The first problems in implementing some stages of the roadmap arose in 2022 due to the departure from Russia of foreign vendors that supplied equipment to the country. At the conference "The Future of Russian Communications: Development Paths" within the framework of CIPR-2022, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Andrey Zarenin said that the document requires reformatting and reorientation of international cooperation to the Asian region. "There is a Chinese component base, but all the documentation, accordingly, is also in Chinese. And even if you put a translator next to you, it will take from 6 to 12 months to produce what we produced on a different electronic component base," Andrey Zarenin added.
