The Traffic Sources report tells you where your views (and watch time) are coming from

While there is no such thing as a “good” or “bad” CTR, this report tells me that the video has the potential to get many more views.

For example, if I used a new thumbnail that improved my CTR from 3.8% to 4.8%, I could get 3,590 more views per month. Not bad!

What can you do with this information?

Double Down: If you notice that one traffic source is doing really list of estonia consumer email well (e.g. SEO), increase your efforts there.
Spotting Fluctuations: Is your traffic from Facebook or Instagram down? It might be time to change your approach to promoting videos on these platforms.
Finding Untapped Channels: Is a great potential traffic source (like suggested videos) only bringing you 10% of the views? Then it’s probably time to start optimizing your videos to get in the suggested videos sidebar (or even create new ones).
Find untapped keywords
YouTube shows you the exact keywords people use to find your videos in YouTube Search:

If you already optimize your videos , you’ll recognize most of these keywords. But if you dig deeper, you might find keywords that your videos “accidentally” rank for.
