In July 2019, Crello turned 2 years old. To celebrate, the graphic design startup is giving its subscribers free access to a collection of 500,000 photos, valued at over $7 million.
Crello has partnered with professional photographers and private photo studios to be able to offer its users unique images that are not available on any stock photo platforms. In two years since its launch in July 2017, Crello has become a global platform for non-designers working with video and graphic designs.
As part of the project, the team behind the service plans to provide free access to 1 million high-quality images and 10,000 videos. All of them will be available under royalty-free licenses.
In the first days after Crello launched in July 2017, it integrated Depositphotos with the platform, giving users access to a library of over 100 million files. Each photo license costs $0.99. Today, photos in the new collection of half a million are completely free for all users, with no extra costs, regardless of the type of subscription.
To celebrate Crello turning two years old, the team has been working on several updates to the platform.
• The Crello collection will grow with 3,500 new videos that can be used in video projects and designs.
• Option to edit static images. You can add a motion effect to any object, text or photo in a design in just a few clicks.
• 7-day trial. All premium plan options can be tried for free for 7 days.
