The metaverse, which is currently on everyone's lips in the marketing and advertising arena , seems set to completely redefine human experiences. For companies in particular, the metaverse holds within itself a plethora of opportunities that should not be ignored. For this reason, the consulting firm Accenture has set out to prepare its clients for the future marked by the metaverse that is coming by creating a special unit dedicated to this concept.

Accenture has had its own metaverse (Nth Floor) for some time now and uses this space, among other things, to train its new employees.
“ The next generation of the internet is already underway, ushering in a new wave of digital transformation that will go beyond anything we’ve ever seen before and transform the way we live and work,” says Paul Daugherty. “Our vision of the metaverse as a continuum challenges prevailing views and demonstrates why businesses need to act now to avoid being trapped in universes designed by others,” he adds.

As the lines between physical and digital become increasingly blurred, Daugherty believes companies now have a unique opportunity to lay the foundations for a responsible metaverse that “addresses issues like trust, sustainability, personal safety, privacy and diversity.”
According to Accenture’s “Technology Vision 2022: Meet Me in the Metaverse” report , there are four key trends that organizations will need to consider as they jump into the metaverse pool .
