Apple may be working on a technology

Seven years ago, back in 2015, Apple decided to do away with one of the most distinctive design elements of its MacBooks : the backlit logo on the front casing of the Apple company's laptops.
However, the iconic illuminated apple of MacBooks could be preparing to make a grand return to Apple laptops . This is at least inferred from a patent registered in May of this year by the company led by Tim Cook and luxembourg number data published just a few days ago by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The patent in question puts “partially backlit mirror structures” for electronic devices in the spotlight. “The logo or other structures of the device may be provided with a partially reflective backlit mirror. The mirror may provide the logo or other structures with a glossy appearance while blocking the view of the interior components. At the same time, the partial transparency of the mirror allows backlight illumination from inside the device to pass through the mirror,” Apple explains in the patent.
Details included in the patent suggest that similar to the backlighting that lurked in the brand's logo on MacBooks a few years ago.
