a job and new challenges - the next edition of the Talent Days job fair is coming soon!
TALENT DAYS: Hi Michał! Thanks for being with us. First, tell us what your vision of the future was when you started looking for a job? Was it a change of position, your first job after college, or something else?
Michał: It was definitely a change of position and previous career plans. I simply felt that I needed new challenges and was looking for something that would better suit my skills and passions.
He chose Talent Days “blindly”
TALENT DAYS: What were your impressions of the Talent Days job fair? In addition to individual conversations with employers, did you actively participate in exploring other companies' stands?
Michał: I admit that I went to Talent Days "blindly", without any specific expectations, not knowing in advance the list of companies that would be present. That is why I looked at the offers of all employers with great interest, looking for positions that matched my skills and passions.
TALENT DAYS: It's been a while since the last job fair. Do you see any advantages over traditional online applications?
Michał: Yes, I see a significant advantage. Talent Days job fairs offer something that we cannot find in the online recruitment process. First of all, I appreciate the opportunity to obtain information directly from people working in a given company. Thanks to this, I received initial feedback on whether I have a chance for a given position with my skills and experience and whether the company is even looking for candidates with qualifications like mine. For me, such direct interaction is crucial because it allowed me to get to know companies and their organizational culture better.

TALENT DAYS: You say that the fair offers something more, what do you think others can gain from participating? What advice would you have for those planning to participate in Talent Days?
Michał: Before the event, it is definitely worth doing some research and checking which companies will be present and in which industries they operate. This will make it easier for us to find out who we would like to talk to. Remember also that Talent Days is a large and popular event, so we have to be patient and expect queues to the company stands. It is a good idea to arrive at the very beginning to avoid the crowds. Before the fair, it is also worth considering your skills and interests. This will allow us to verify more quickly whether a given job offer meets our expectations. Also remember to upload a good CV to the Talent Days website to get a wristband with a code, which, after being scanned by the employer during the event, will appear directly in their system.
