What is Creativity?

Creativity is assumed to be the ability to produce something new; however, some disagreements have arisen due to the different paths that research takes, some focused on the subject, others on the process, which makes a complete notion of the concept of creativity difficult.
Some researchers claim that “there is no single definition of creativity. But this does not mean that there is no common denominator among the different concepts of this quality. This common denominator emphasizes the idea of something new, regardless of how new it may be.
Many authors consider creativity to be a process, a set of phases to follow, certain characteristics that a person must have and, of course, a process that results in something that must be new, original and that must serve to solve a problem. However, there is no clear definition. In any case, it is a capacity existing in all human beings, used to solve problems and that requires existing realities.
Based on some research, creativity could be defined as "the set of skills linked to the personality of the human being that allow him, based on previous information, and through a series of internal (cognitive) processes, in which said information is transformed, the solution of problems with originality and efficiency."
One thing we can say is that there are no people without creativity and that, like any other quality, it must be exercised from when we are children.
What is innovation?
Innovation is a process that modifies existing elements, ideas or protocols. Its objective is to improve them and create new systems that cover more needs or do so more efficiently. Innovation is a concept closely linked to the business world. To innovate is to improve what exists, providing new options that meet the needs of consumers, or even creating new products with the aim of making them successful in the market. Through knowledge of the products, the market, the value contribution of the company or the needs of consumers, a series of changes and criteria can be established to innovate in them and make them useful in the market.
