Allow desktop apps to access your microphone

If you're particularly concerned that your web browser doesn't have permission to use your microphone, here's where you should look. Make sure the Allow desktop apps to access your microphone toggle is turned on so that Windows allows microphone access for Google Chrome , Microsoft Edge , Firefox , and more.

This setting must be enabled to allow browsers like Chrome to access your microphone.
