The “People also search” result isn’t new to desktop SERPs, but the revamp it received in February of last year transformed it into a completely different box that can be investigated.

And since we know you're wondering what's inside, we played Somerset for your mills and found you.

What we got was an expanded, URL-centric version of benin number data the original PASF box, the “People Also Ask” box, and the “Searches” you see at the bottom of the SERP – it’s a keyword goldmine and full of content ideas, straight from the horse’s mouth (Google).

We'll tell you how PASF has changed over the years and how you can take advantage of everything it has to offer - even the weird stuff.

We first saw the words “people also search” with the introduction of Knowledge Graphs in 2012. Bringing up the back of this right-hand SERP feature, the PASF portion (which we still have today) consists of a handful of image thumbnails.

As part of the introduction, Google’s Amit Singhal had this to say about PASF: “We can now sometimes help answer your next question before you ask it because the facts we show are informed by what other people have searched for. For example, the information we show for Tom Cruise answers 37 percent of the next questions people ask about him.”

Then, we saw “People Also Search” act as a free agent for a short time, especially for music-related queries. Separated from the knowledge graph, related titles (and images) existed in their own box and were placed at the bottom of the SERP.
