We need better rules for

One reason for this is that people and regulators are increasingly concerned about how personal data is used: where it goes, who has access to it and how it can be used. We take these concerns very seriously and firmly believe that data protection and personalized advertising do not have to be mutually exclusive.

Facebook has repeatedly called for stronger regulation. the internet: rules that respect people's right to decide what happens to their data; rules that encourage competition and innovation; and, above all, rules that ensure the internet remains open and accessible to all.

However, the Internet as we know france rcs data it and all the companies that rely on it are at risk: the far-reaching changes that Apple wants to make will disproportionately harm small businesses and developers that rely on personalized advertising.

Advertising-based business models have long been a key driver of the growth and diversity of the Internet. Personalized advertising allows companies to invest scarce resources effectively, connect with customers, and grow. Without personalized advertising, many new companies would never make it to the market. Online services offered to people for free through an advertising-based business model would not be able to survive. It is worth noting that Apple is exempting its own personalized ads from the new guidelines.
