Countdown of the year

It was the battle of battles: The countdown to the US elections was undoubtedly the highlight of this political year and made us forget for a brief moment the horrific pandemic called Corona. A real-life implementation of the Trump show "The Apprentice" with the legendary statement "You're fired!"
Even if there is no winner yet, we already know who the losers are. First of all, the pollsters. Now, one could rightly argue that predicting an election in the USA is not easy and is china rcs data subject to many difficulties. That is true, but anyone who chooses this profession has a certain claim to seriousness and truth. I became aware of this – and this is a side note – when I was able to follow the election campaign between Trump and Clinton in Pennsylvania with two good friends four years ago . Sometimes – and this was clearly evident today – history repeats itself. And not just, as Marx and Hegel before him sneered, as a farce.
